Why are people so hung up on whether or not they have sex? It’s not that important to the story. Not at all, actually. It would just further their relationship. Maybe even set it back since they both have psychological issues and are difficult places right now. Sex might just make stuff awkward. It’s not a fix for all their fighting. What they need is to sit and actually talk about junk.
